Our ‘Fun and Engaging HomeSchool Group’ is set to roll out an exciting Thursday morning programme this September, hosted by the lovely and highly qualified Anita Lennox. For those who don’t know Anita, she brings a wealth of experience with her BSc in Sociology and Psychology, SEN PGCE Teacher credentials, and a special knack for Mindfulness Teaching. Trust me, she’s a gem and we are absolutely thrilled to have her leading this unique initiative.

Day: Thursday morning

Duration: 3 hours

Cost: £40 per student

Now let’s talk details. We’ll gather in cosy groups of no more than 8 students, keeping things intimate and interactive. Our focus will be on KS2 learners, so if you’ve got a 8 to 11-year-old, this is the perfect opportunity for them to dive into a stimulating learning environment. We promise three hours of engaging activities, stimulating exercises, and lively discussion each week at the cost of £40 per student. But wait! We’ll also provide all the necessary basic resources – so no scrambling around for stationery at the last minute!

Our sessions will kick off with Mindfulness Practice on a fresh weekly topic, ensuring our students start their day with calm and focused minds. This is followed by a jovial session of Reading & Sharing. We encourage everyone to bring along a book and share its wonders with the group.

Then we’ll dive into the nitty-gritty of learning, honing our grammar skills through workbooks. After a break filled with free time and refreshments, it’s then onto some essential Maths topics. We’ll round off our day with a variety of mixed games, including group games, board games, and online games for those who can bring a tablet. A bit of fun is always the best way to consolidate in depth learning, isn’t it?

Lastly, we’ll send our learners home with some individual workbook tasks, ensuring the learning continues at home.
